Why we built this
We spent our careers on the two halves of this problem.
One of us prosecuted cybercrime, a thousand cases, and watched most of them end the same way: the money was traceable, the victim was believed, and nobody had the hours to act in time.
The other clerked at South Africa's highest court, then ran pro bono programs around the world, finding lawyers for people who had a case but no way to bring it. The lesson was the same everywhere: a right you can't get a lawyer for is a right you don't have.
Fraud sits exactly there. The law already gives victims more than they know, and almost none of them ever reach it, because the first hours are the ones that matter and a lawyer is the one thing they cannot get. Software can do the part that used to cost a fortune: the tracing, the drafting, the reporting, the watching. What it cannot do is decide, or sign, or care. That part stays ours.
So we built the firm we kept wishing existed on the other side of the desk. An honest answer for everyone, free, within a day. And for the cases worth pursuing, a lawyer who acts in hours, at a price that doesn't take what's left.
What we hold ourselves to.
- Free help, first.
- Every victim gets an honest answer and reports police can use, even when we can’t take the case. We charge a fee only where a case stands a real chance, and we support the organizations fighting for victims.
- Trust.
- We work alongside banks, exchanges and law enforcement to restore trust, and bridge the gaps where they can’t reach. In every room, we speak for the victim.
- Speed, without rush.
- The lark sings first. We want to be the first good thing you hear after the scam, and we act fast where it counts. We never rush, and we’re never late.
- Humility.
- Friendly, plain-spoken, never arrogant. If we ever fall short of that, tell us.
